Idaho Trails Association Presenting Monday, Nov. 3
Learn more about a statewide movement to keep Idaho’s hiking trails open and accessible for everyone. Pam Bond, board member and trip leader for the Idaho Trails Association, will tell us about the nonprofit organization at the Mountain West Outdoor Club monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Nov. 3, 2025 in Boise.
Pam will highlight some of ITA’s volunteer trail projects coming up in 2026, from remote backcountry adventures to quick weekend cleanups close to home. She’ll also dive into ITA’s special initiatives like Women in the Wild and a youth program that connects young people with Idaho’s wild places.
If you are curious about getting involved, this presentation will show how you can help protect and maintain our Idaho trails.
The meeting location is the Idaho Fish & Game Headquarters in Boise, at 600 South Walnut Street, Boise 83712. But you won’t find us at the main front door. You will use a side door, on the river side, south-east side, of the building). (For someone facing the front entrance to the building, the entrance will be on the right side.) A club member will be available to open the locked door between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m. that evening. So please plan to arrive during that half hour.
Club members are also welcome to attend the board meeting, held at 6 p.m. at the same location.
